Job Description
Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal, exotic, and avian hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The hospital has an excellent reputation within the community and is dedicated to providing high-quality, progressive veterinary medicine while maintaining a collaborative and supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Tuesday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. The practice is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time role with flexibility in scheduling to support work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, dental procedures, surgery, internal medicine, pain management, and support for exotic pets and avian patients. Duties also include health certification, senior wellness care, and microchipping. The position is open to experienced veterinarians.

The hospital is AAHA-accredited and fully equipped with advanced facilities to support exemplary veterinary care. Services include preventative care, dentistry, surgery, laboratory diagnostics, pain management, and specialized support for birds and exotic pets. Team
The hospital has two veterinarians supported by a skilled team of support staff. The environment is collaborative, professional yet laid-back, and mentoring-focused, offering an excellent setting for both new graduates and experienced clinicians.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
