Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a General Practice and/or Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its team. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility for the veterinarian to work in general practice, urgent care, or a combination of both. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care within a structured environment designed to combine relationship-focused general practice with the variety and pace of urgent care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care across general practice and urgent care, including wellness and preventative medicine, sick appointments, same-day and urgent cases, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, fully working up cases using available diagnostic resources, developing individualized treatment, vaccination, and preventative healthcare plans, and educating clients on treatment options, nutrition, and ongoing care. Depending on experience and interests, the veterinarian may perform routine soft tissue surgery and dental procedures. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least two years of practice experience, with a strong foundation in dentistry, surgery, and ultrasound. Doctors work a four-day week with no after-hours or on-call responsibilities.

Practice Details
The hospital’s main clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with the practice closed between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on Thursdays and closed on Sundays. Urgent care is available Monday and Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The recently renovated facility offers an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, and ultrasound, supporting comprehensive diagnostic workups and timely treatment. Services include wellness and preventative care, vaccinations, dentistry, diagnostics, spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, urgent care, end-of-life care, and canine reproduction. Surgical capabilities include foreign body removal, mass removal, bladder stone removal, amputations, eye enucleation, ear hematoma repair, dental extractions, TPLO procedures, patellar surgery, and fracture repair.

Team
The hospital has eight DVMs supported by a wider clinical team, with a 5:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio. The team works within a collaborative environment centered on open and respectful communication, teamwork, learning, and high-quality medicine. Veterinarians have access to structured mentorship, clinical development pathways, and doctor leadership programs, while the strong support structure allows doctors to focus on medicine and patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
