Our client is an established veterinary hospital seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its General Practice team. The hospital has been serving its local community for over 30 years, providing comprehensive veterinary care with an emphasis on compassionate medicine and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The practice offers a welcoming, collaborative environment where high standards of patient care, professional development and clinical autonomy are encouraged.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide general veterinary care, including wellness examinations, preventative medicine, vaccinations, dentistry and surgical procedures. Surgical responsibilities include routine spays and neuters, mass removals and dental surgery. The role involves developing appropriate treatment plans, educating clients on their pets’ health and providing ongoing care to support patients throughout their lives. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with mentorship and professional development opportunities available to support doctors at different stages of their careers.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a range of general veterinary services, including preventative care, wellness examinations, vaccinations, dentistry and surgery. The practice is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate medicine while maintaining strong relationships with the local community. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with Sundays closed. The practice offers a supportive working environment with access to additional professional resources, structured onboarding and opportunities for ongoing clinical development.

Team
The hospital has three DVMs supported by an experienced team of veterinary technicians and support staff. The practice emphasizes collaboration, teamwork and knowledge sharing, with mentorship available for early-career veterinarians and opportunities for experienced doctors to continue developing their clinical interests. The team works together to provide consistent, high-quality patient care within a welcoming and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
