Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Treating cats, dogs, and exotics, the hospital offers a diverse and rewarding caseload supported by modern facilities and a wide range of services. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to develop their skills within a well-equipped and fast-paced clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients while providing high-quality medical care across a varied caseload. Clinical responsibilities include surgery, dentistry, and general medicine. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, making this a great opportunity for doctors at different stages of their careers. Weekend shifts are shared on a rotational basis amongst the veterinary team.
Practice Details
The hospital operates from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Saturday. Equipped with modern technology and fantastic facilities, the practice is well positioned to provide comprehensive care across a broad range of disciplines. Services include primary care, wellness medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, oncology, dermatology, and urgent care. The varied caseload provides veterinarians with the opportunity to practice a wide range of medicine while being supported by quality equipment and resources.
Team
The veterinary team consists of three DVMs supported by a strong team of support staff. Together, they work collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care and maintain a positive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
