Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the practice on either a full-time or part-time basis. Serving the Nashville community since 1977, the hospital combines advanced veterinary medicine with a collaborative approach and a focus on building lasting relationships with its established client base. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care across a diverse caseload, with a clinical focus spanning wellness, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, advanced care, and emergency situations. Responsibilities include managing patients from examination and diagnosis through treatment, providing preventive and ongoing medical care, and developing trusted relationships with clients. The veterinarian will work collaboratively with colleagues and have opportunities for mentorship, continuous learning, and leadership development. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome to be considered for the position.

Practice Details
The AAHA-accredited hospital provides primary and advanced veterinary care supported by digital radiology, ultrasound, EKG, endoscopy, laparoscopy, dental X-rays, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, an in-office surgical suite, and oxygen therapy. Services include cardiology, chemotherapy, dermatology, oncology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, laser and soft tissue surgery, general and routine surgery, spays and neuters, dentistry, anesthesia, hospitalization, emergency care, geriatric medicine, pain management, allergy and itchy skin care, euthanasia, health examinations and certificates, and radiology. The practice has served Nashville since 1977 and emphasizes high-quality medicine, collaboration, mentorship, continuous learning, and strong client relationships. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The hospital has seven DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and team-focused, with an emphasis on colleagues sharing knowledge, teaching others, supporting professional development, and providing mentorship and continuous learning opportunities.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
