Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice in Nashville. This established hospital has proudly served the community since 1993 and is known for its commitment to comprehensive pet wellness, compassionate medicine, and strong client relationships. The practice is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are eager to grow within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality small animal medicine across a broad range of cases including diagnostics, surgery, advanced care, and urgent care. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with clients, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, educating pet owners on treatment plans and wellness recommendations, and collaborating closely with the veterinary and support teams to maintain a positive hospital culture. The role offers exposure to varying levels of case complexity and the opportunity to continually develop medical and surgical skills in a supportive setting.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care with services including testing and diagnostics, advanced care, urgent care, and surgical procedures. Advanced care services include veterinary internal medicine, pain management, cardiology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, and laser therapy. Surgical services include orthopedics, mass removals, CCL repair, soft tissue surgery, and anesthesia. The practice is dedicated to providing quality compassionate medicine and allows veterinarians the time needed to work through detailed medical histories and build meaningful client relationships. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

The hospital currently has 5 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative, inclusive, and focused on professional development, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
