Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a part-time position within a newly built small animal hospital providing care for cats and dogs, offering an opportunity to be part of a modern, collaborative environment focused on high-quality primary and urgent care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive small animal care, including wellness exams, preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. Responsibilities include conducting thorough physical examinations, developing tailored treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, and building strong client relationships through clear communication and education. Doctor hours follow a part-time schedule with flexibility to support work-life balance. This role is open to veterinarians with the ability to practice independently and work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The facility is newly built and fully equipped with modern tools and technology to support efficient, high-quality care. Services offered include wellness exams, urgent care, diagnostics, spay and neuter procedures, surgery, microchipping, vaccinations, radiography, dental care, health certificates, senior pet care, end-of-life care, and an in-house pharmacy. The practice emphasizes a collaborative culture, high technician-to-doctor support, and a structured environment designed to support both clinical excellence and workflow efficiency.

Team
The team is supported by a skilled and collaborative support staff, creating a positive, team-oriented environment that encourages communication, professional growth, and high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
