Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its small animal urgent care and general practice hospital in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care to canines, felines, pocket pets, reptiles, fish, and birds and is hiring an experienced Associate Veterinarian to deliver consistent, high-quality medical care within a community-focused practice.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing wellness and sick appointments, preventive care, and client-focused veterinary services. Clinical responsibilities include performing surgeries, diagnostics, and dental procedures, as well as serving as a trusted medical partner for clients throughout the lifetime of their pets. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident delivering comprehensive medical care and values building long-term client relationships.

The hospital is a full-service, year-round small animal urgent care and general practice facility serving the Nantucket community. Services offered include urgent care, wellness and sick exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and acupuncture. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
