Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their veterinary team providing care for dogs and cats. The hospital has been serving the Myrtle Beach community since 2005 and is known for delivering compassionate veterinary medicine and individualized patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering the chance to work in a collaborative environment while practicing comprehensive veterinary medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness and prevention services, diagnostics, advanced care, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, and educating clients on preventative care and treatment options. The role involves collaborating with the clinical and support team to deliver high standards of patient care while building strong relationships with clients. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital provides full-service veterinary care across a range of disciplines. Services offered include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and pet boarding. The practice focuses on delivering comprehensive medical services and supporting veterinarians with access to internal education, mentorship opportunities, and collaboration on complex cases.

The hospital has 7 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment that supports professional development and high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
