Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team. This is a well-equipped, full-service practice focused on delivering high-quality medicine supported by advanced technology and a strong team environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Saturday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Sundays. The position can be full-time or part-time, with a requirement to work rotating Saturdays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care, including diagnosing and treating conditions, performing surgical procedures, and delivering preventive care. Responsibilities include client communication, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available for those early in their careers.
Practice Details
This is a spacious hospital with 7 exam rooms, featuring advanced equipment including a surgical suite, dental suite, digital X-ray, in-house laboratory machines, cutting-edge laser, and cold laser technology, as well as hands-free radiology. The practice offers a wide range of services including advanced dental care, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, chemotherapy, dermatology, ultrasound, digital radiology, wellness care, diagnostics, preventive medicine, and hospitalization. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with modern facilities such as a comfortable break room and shared doctor workspace, supporting a positive and efficient workflow.
Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a fun, collaborative, and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
