Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with scheduling options available to suit the successful candidate. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is looking for a veterinarian who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for treating and diagnosing patients while maintaining a high standard of veterinary care. The role includes performing surgery and dentistry, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through excellent communication. The hospital is open to discussing different working hours and scheduling preferences. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available to support those at the beginning of their careers.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. They offer a diverse range of cases and emergency situations, alongside services including dental care, rehabilitation, bone and joint surgery, cardiology, cold laser therapy, dermatology, laser surgery, ophthalmology, radiation therapy, soft tissue surgery, wellness and preventative medicine, pain management, and more. The practice is equipped with cutting-edge technology and modern facilities, including ultrasound, radiology, a surgical suite, dental X-ray, and cold laser equipment.
Team
The team consists of three DVMs, including two Associate Veterinarians and one Medical Director. You will also work alongside a fantastic team of well-tenured and experienced doctors in a collaborative practice environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
