Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats in Morrisville, North Carolina, and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the team on a full-time basis. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness examinations, preventive medicine, diagnostic testing, surgical procedures, and advanced medical treatments. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing appropriate treatment plans, and utilising modern veterinary techniques to deliver high-quality patient care. The role also involves building lasting relationships with clients, communicating clinical findings and treatment recommendations, and educating pet owners to support informed decisions about their animals’ health. Veterinarians will have the clinical freedom to practise medicine to high standards while collaborating with the wider veterinary team. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered for this position.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostic testing, surgery, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, behavioural therapy, cardiology, laser therapy, ophthalmology, pain management, regenerative medicine, OFA certifications, and health certificates. Clinical capabilities include ultrasound and complex surgical procedures, alongside access to internal specialty consultations for challenging cases. As part of a wider veterinary network, the hospital benefits from continuing education programmes, professional development resources, and structured career progression opportunities. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
