Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing advanced small animal veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited practice in Morrisville, NC. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly respected, community-focused hospital known for its commitment to quality medicine and compassionate care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options available, with participation in Saturday coverage.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, including diagnosing and treating cases, developing treatment plans, and building strong client relationships. Daily responsibilities include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and collaboration with the wider team to ensure optimal outcomes. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with an emphasis on communication, teamwork, and maintaining high clinical standards.

This is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital offering advanced medical care supported by modern technology and a strong focus on clinical excellence. The practice provides services including preventative and wellness care, ultrasound, surgery, acupuncture, chiropractic care, Traditional Chinese Medicine, herbal medicine, cold light laser therapy, senior pet wellness, and emergency services. The hospital promotes a culture of continuous learning and professional development, supported by access to internal specialty consultations and resources to manage complex cases.
Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment focused on high-quality care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
