Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited practice providing comprehensive veterinary care for canine, feline, avian, exotic, and reptilian species. The hospital offers a broad range of services including preventive care, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels who are interested in practicing high-quality medicine within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on a rotating schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload across companion animals and exotics, providing wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, internal medicine, and surgery. Responsibilities include conducting thorough medical examinations, performing diagnostic imaging and laboratory evaluations, delivering preventive care programs, and completing surgical procedures including routine soft tissue surgeries. The role emphasizes strong client communication, collaborative case management, and maintaining high standards of medical care consistent with AAHA accreditation.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, echocardiography, EKG, Tonopen, in-house pharmacy, and a fully equipped surgical suite and dental suite. Services include Advanced Dental Care, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Ophthalmology, Reproductive Services, Soft Tissue Surgery, Preventive Medicine, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Emergency Care, Hospice Care, Pain Management, and Routine Surgeries including spays and neuters.

Team
The hospital is supported by 1 DVM and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment focused on patient care and strong client relationships.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
