Introduction
Our client is a practice looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for cats, dogs, and some exotics, this award-winning companion animal primary care practice has been serving the community since 1992 and has built an outstanding reputation, reflected in its excellent 4.9-star Google rating. Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing high-quality preventative, medical, and surgical care across a varied companion animal caseload. You will be responsible for consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client education while working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. The position offers an excellent work-life balance with no evenings, no on-call duties, and no holiday work. The practice welcomes DVMs of all experience levels and provides ongoing education and mentorship to support your professional development and long-term career goals.
Practice Details
The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and every other Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The hospital provides the full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, allowing clinicians to manage a broad and rewarding caseload while maintaining a calm and structured workflow. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, an In-House Laboratory, Digital Radiology, Digital Dental Radiology, and Ultrasound, providing the technology needed to confidently diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. The hospital utilizes low-stress patient handling techniques and operates without walk-in appointments, reserving a limited number of Urgent Care appointments each day. True emergencies are referred to a nearby overnight emergency hospital, allowing the team to focus on delivering calm, compassionate primary care in a well-managed clinical environment.
Team
You will be joining a team of 3 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
