Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Treating cats and dogs, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to join a collaborative practice providing high-quality companion animal care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role covers the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing preventative, medical, surgical, and wellness care for cats and dogs. You’ll perform routine examinations, diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, carry out surgical procedures, and promote preventative healthcare through client education. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with the veterinary team to deliver the highest standard of patient care, and building strong relationships with clients through compassionate communication. In addition, you’ll see urgent care cases as part of the hospital’s daily caseload. Specific working hours will be discussed during the interview process. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, delivering comprehensive preventative care, routine wellness examinations, diagnostic evaluations, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and urgent care for companion animals. Additional services include cold laser therapy. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound. Facilities include an in-house pharmacy to support efficient patient care. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

The practice is supported by a full support staff, fostering a collaborative environment that allows its veterinarians to focus on delivering excellent patient care. The team works closely together to maintain a positive and supportive workplace, ensuring high standards of care for both patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
