Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service companion animal care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their modern, state-of-the-art practice in Mooresville. The clinic delivers high-quality medicine and surgery with a strong emphasis on client education and treats dogs, cats, and exotic pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, and is closed on Sunday. This is a part-time role offering flexible scheduling with predictable hours and a consistent home hospital assignment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative care across a varied caseload including small animals and exotics. Responsibilities include conducting routine exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and urgent care services. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who can collaborate effectively with the team, build strong client relationships, and deliver excellent patient care.

Practice Details
This is a full-service companion animal hospital offering a broad range of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, internal medicine, surgery, dental care, urgent care, and exotic pet care. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostics and technology, including digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and a complete in-house laboratory supporting bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal exams. Additional services include boarding, grooming, cold laser therapy, acupuncture, geriatric care, and puppy and kitten programs. The hospital is an American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) Cat-Friendly certified practice, with dedicated feline exam rooms, boarding areas, and a feline-only waiting space. The environment emphasizes compassionate care, client education, and collaboration.

Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff, creating a collaborative and well-supported working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
