Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This well-established, full-service general practice hospital has built a legacy of excellence and a loyal client base through its commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine and compassionate patient care. Caring for cats, dogs, exotic pets, including rabbits, pocket pets, primates, and other small mammals, the hospital offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian seeking a diverse and rewarding caseload within a supportive clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to perform the full scope of general practice veterinary medicine across a varied caseload of companion animals and exotic species. Responsibilities will include preventative care, diagnostics, treatment planning, medical case management, surgery, dentistry, and client communication while delivering a consistently high standard of patient care. This opportunity is best suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys the variety of general practice medicine and values working within a collaborative team dedicated to clinical excellence and exceptional client service.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The practice provides a full scope of general practice services, creating a diverse and engaging caseload. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital X-ray, and digital dental X-ray. As an AAHA-accredited hospital since 2009, the practice demonstrates a longstanding commitment to maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine and patient care.
Team
You will join a team of four DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works cohesively to provide the highest level of client and patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
