Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. The practice offers a collaborative environment, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a varied medical and surgical caseload, including exotics.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for companion animals while managing a varied caseload of appointments and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with clients, collaborating with the clinical team and leadership, supporting the development of veterinary support staff through the internal LevelUp training program, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice within the Montgomery community. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with a supportive team and flexible scheduling designed to encourage professional development and work-life balance.

Practice Details
This well-established multi-doctor small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, with opportunities to work with exotic species. The practice is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, a dedicated surgical suite, and AviMark practice management software. Services include sick and urgent care, dentistry, end-of-life care, laboratory and diagnostic testing, microchipping, pain management, parasite prevention, and surgery. The hospital also benefits from having a nearby emergency facility for 24-hour hospitalisation and referral of complex after-hours cases. Veterinarians enjoy flexible schedules of between two and four-and-a-half days per week, a daily one-hour lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and shortened Saturday hours to support work-life balance. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
