Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This full-service clinic delivers both urgent and preventative care to companion and exotic pets, offering a dynamic caseload within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open every day from 9:00am to 6:00pm. The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility, with weekend coverage included as part of the regular opening hours. There are no additional after-hours requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat diseases and injuries, prescribe medications, perform surgeries, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Responsibilities include delivering wellness and preventative care, urgent care, surgical and dental procedures, and educating clients on treatment options, nutrition, and preventative health. The role also involves collaborating closely with the veterinary team and maintaining high standards of clinical care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This is an established hospital serving its community since 1979, offering a full range of services for both companion and exotic pets. Services include urgent care, wellness exams, diagnostics, vaccinations, dental care, surgeries, spays and neuters, behavioral and nutrition counseling, end-of-life care, acupuncture, laser therapy, and echocardiography. The practice features an on-site pharmacy and diagnostic capabilities, supporting efficient and high-quality patient care. The hospital emphasizes a collaborative culture, professional growth, and maintaining a high standard of medicine in a modern facility.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
