Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice providing general veterinary care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their busy and well-established team. This three-doctor hospital has been serving the community for decades and is known for delivering tailored treatment plans and compassionate care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position, with Saturday coverage required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, and sick patient visits. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication. The role suits a veterinarian with an interest in surgery and dentistry and is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is a general practice with an average daily patient volume of 14+ cases, offering a balanced caseload of wellness, surgery, dentistry, and sick pets. The clinic is equipped with digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory capabilities, and laser therapy. The 3,800 sq ft facility includes 6 exam rooms and supports efficient workflow. The practice has a 3:1 support staff ratio and fosters a collaborative and strong team culture, with a focus on patient care, continuous growth, and long-term client relationships. Services include wellness care and exams, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter, parasite prevention, deworming, microchipping, pet surgery, nutrition and diet counseling, and laser therapy. The clinic also offers pharmacy and laboratory services and has built a strong reputation in the community with over 150 five-star reviews.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
