Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an associate veterinarian to join their team. This small animal practice provides care for cats and dogs and is looking to add a full or part-time veterinarian to support its growing client base.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The ideal schedule for this full-time position would be four weekdays with rotating Saturdays, though specific doctor hours are open to discussion and flexible scheduling is available for both full and part-time candidates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes full general practice responsibilities, with a clinical scope that covers wellness, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, dermatology, cardiology, radiology, endocrinology, and ultrasound. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and advanced diagnostics to support high-quality patient care. Services range from routine wellness exams and vaccinations to more advanced diagnostics and soft-tissue surgical procedures.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs and a tenured support staff, creating a stable, experienced, and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
