Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing equine veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Equine Veterinarian to join their progressive practice. The hospital delivers high-quality medical and surgical care to a diverse equine caseload, including performance, ranch, and pleasure horses, within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time arrangements and includes participation in a shared on-call rotation for emergency services. Additional details on weekend coverage are not specified.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Equine Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including preventative care, dentistry, lameness evaluations, medical case management, and emergency services. The role involves a balance of ambulatory and in-hospital work, performing routine wellness care, diagnosing and treating medical and lameness cases, carrying out basic dental procedures and minor surgical treatments, and responding to emergency calls. Strong client communication, accurate record keeping, and collaboration with the veterinary team are key aspects of the position. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
