Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital located in Modesto, CA, currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and compassionate team. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking a well-supported start to their careers in a collaborative and high-quality clinical environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality care through services such as dentistry, vaccinations, diagnostics, and complementary treatments. The role includes exposure to advanced modalities such as Class 4 laser therapy, laparoscopic surgery, and rehabilitation services. It is open to both experienced professionals and new graduates, with a structured mentorship program in place to support early career development.
Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and a Certified Cat Friendly Practice. It is equipped with modern diagnostic and therapeutic tools including x-rays, laser therapy, tens therapy, and massage therapy, and also provides laparoscopic surgery and rehabilitation services. The clinic culture emphasizes compassionate care, innovation, and professional support within a well-established practice framework.
Team
The practice is home to 8 DVMs and a dedicated support team. The environment is highly collaborative and mentorship-focused, offering a strong foundation for growth and continued professional development.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
