Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team in Modesto. This full-service general practice provides comprehensive medical services for cats, dogs, and other small companion animals, and is well-known in the community for delivering professional, high-quality care with a compassionate touch.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time or part-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Associate General Practice Veterinarian (DVM) who is passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and committed to building strong client relationships. In this role, you will deliver a full range of services including preventive care, routine exams, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and emergency care. You will also provide breeding and nutritional consultations, as well as care for geriatric patients, puppies, and kittens. You will work closely with the Hospital Manager and report directly to the Regional Manager while collaborating with a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every patient.

Practice Details
This is a fully equipped hospital featuring advanced diagnostic and treatment tools such as digital radiography, endoscopy, surgical lasers, and digital dental radiology. The hospital also offers comprehensive in-house laboratory testing including bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal exams. With its wide range of services from preventive care to surgical procedures, the hospital provides pets and their families with a full spectrum of veterinary care under one roof.

Team
The hospital currently has three DVMs supported by a full team of skilled support staff. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, fostering a professional yet compassionate atmosphere that ensures both patients and clients receive exceptional care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
