Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital providing comprehensive general practice care for dogs and cats. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the practice. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and provides a well-equipped clinical environment focused on high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a full scope of general practice services while developing strong relationships with clients and working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team. The role is suited to a veterinarian who is dedicated to high-quality medicine, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to continued learning and professional growth. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital dental radiography, digital radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, electronic medical records, and cold or therapeutic lasers. Services include advanced care, advanced dental care, cold laser therapy, dermatology, digital radiology, echocardiography, orthopedic surgery, ultrasound, preventive medicine, adult and senior wellness, flea and tick control, immunizations, microchipping, new kitten and puppy packages, parasite control, vaccinations, weight management, wellness exams, and wellness testing. Fear Free Certified associates are utilized when possible. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 7:45am to 3:00pm, with Sundays closed.

The hospital has two DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and teaching-focused, with an emphasis on teamwork, lifelong learning, strong professional relationships, and supporting continued career growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
