Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for cats and dogs. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about quality medicine and eager to contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The position offers flexibility and can accommodate either full-time or part-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice position that includes physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, with a strong emphasis on client communication and education. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital offers a welcoming and supportive environment that values both high-quality medical care and a healthy work-life balance. It is a well-equipped, modern facility providing a range of services including wellness and preventive care, testing and diagnostics, and advanced medical services such as dental and soft tissue surgery, mass removal, anesthesia, spay/neuter, pain management, cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, behavior, acupuncture, and traditional Chinese medicine.

Team
The veterinary team includes four doctors supported by a tenured and experienced support staff, fostering a collaborative and dependable practice culture.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
