Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a fast-paced animal hospital located in Milledgeville, Georgia, currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This practice is dedicated to providing excellent client service, trusted client education, and high-quality veterinary care for pets in the community.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. The schedule can be flexible, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities to support a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide a wide range of veterinary services, including preventive care, general wellness, dentistry, and surgery. With access to advanced equipment such as digital radiology, endoscopy, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser technology, you will be able to diagnose and treat a diverse caseload.

Practice Details
This hospital is well equipped with a large surgical suite containing three surgical tables, five examination rooms, an in-house diagnostic laboratory, ECG/EKG equipment, and an on-site pharmacy. Additional services such as cold laser therapy and geriatric care are also provided, ensuring a comprehensive approach to pet health. The practice has built a strong reputation over the years for delivering quality care with compassion, making it a trusted choice in the Milledgeville community.

Team
The hospital currently operates with a dedicated team of two experienced DVMs supported by a skilled and devoted staff. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, ensuring all doctors feel supported and able to grow in their careers.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
