Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice providing comprehensive veterinary and urgent care services. The hospital delivers high-quality care for dogs and cats, supporting the bond between pets and their families while offering veterinarians a collaborative environment where they can practice progressive medicine. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to develop their skills within a supportive team.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will examine animals to assess their health, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities include providing wellness and preventative care, performing diagnostic evaluations, conducting surgical procedures, and managing urgent care cases that present during hospital hours. Veterinarians will also communicate clearly with pet owners regarding medical conditions and treatment options, prescribe medications, and collaborate with the wider veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital provides small animal primary and urgent care services for dogs and cats, offering a varied caseload that includes preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent medical treatment. Services offered include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced medical care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. The practice operates within a progressive medical environment supported by a broader veterinary network that provides access to specialist consultations and continuing education resources, enabling veterinarians to practice high-quality medicine while continuing to grow professionally.

Team
The hospital has 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment where veterinarians and support staff work closely together to deliver exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
