Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides care for cats and dogs and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are recruiting for a doctor who can support the full scope of general practice services within a well-established small animal setting.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and is closed on weekends. The schedule can be full-time or part-time, and doctor hours are open to discussion.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full scope of GP responsibilities, covering all aspects of clinical care. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who can confidently manage a broad range of general practice duties.
Practice Details
The hospital is known locally as a high quality, cat-friendly and affordable practice with a strong reputation for excellent customer service and medical care. They have a cross-trained support staff who value a positive and upbeat culture. The equipment includes digital radiographs, surgical and therapy lasers, dental machines, and IDEXX and Abaxis blood and urinalysis machines. The practice offers a full scope of GP services.
Team
The practice has 2 DVMs supported by a brilliant team of support staff who contribute to a cohesive and positive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
