Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their team working with cats and dogs. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis within a full-service veterinary hospital focused on preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and delivering high-quality patient and client care. This role is suited to experienced veterinarians looking to work in a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment with flexible scheduling and opportunities for continued professional growth.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive patient care including physical examinations, preventative medicine, diagnostics, and treatment planning tailored to patient lifestyle and environment. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed medical records, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, and communicating effectively with clients and hospital teams to ensure continuity of care. The role also involves performing routine and complex surgical procedures including spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory procedures, and mass removals, alongside routine and advanced dental procedures including dental radiograph evaluation, prophylaxis, extractions, and oral surgical procedures. Additional responsibilities include managing hospitalized patients, building strong client relationships, participating in rounds, and supporting team communication and collaboration. This opportunity is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This full-service veterinary hospital is equipped with advanced technology including cloud-based practice management and records software, digital and dental x-ray systems, Idexx diagnostics, Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, VMED Vet-Dop2 Doppler Blood Pressure System, and VETSCAN IMAGYST. Services offered include vaccines and microchipping, routine wellness care, illness and injury care with imaging services, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention and prescriptions. The hospital promotes a collaborative and respectful culture focused on exceptional patient care, client experience, and continuous clinical development. Additional support includes paid continuing education, leadership training, flexible scheduling, and no on-call shifts. Hospital hours are Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Team
Veterinarians are supported by local medical directors and a team of licensed and trained veterinary technicians and assistants within a collaborative and supportive hospital environment. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
