Introduction
An AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Middleton, Idaho is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team of three veterinarians. This well-established practice provides comprehensive care for small animals and exotic pets, combining high clinical standards with a welcoming, team-focused culture. With Fear Free Certified veterinarians and a strong commitment to low-stress handling, the hospital prioritises exceptional patient care while creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. The practice is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and closed on Sundays, offering a full-time schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide high-quality medical and surgical care across a varied caseload that includes wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care appointments. You’ll also have the opportunity to see exotic pets, broadening your clinical experience while working closely with experienced colleagues and a skilled support team. The role encourages collaboration, clinical autonomy, and continuous learning, with access to mentorship, internal specialist consultations, and structured professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
