Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a feline-only general practice hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic is dedicated exclusively to cats, providing a low-stress, fear-free environment focused on delivering high-quality medical and surgical care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Sunday closed. The role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Responsibilities include providing feline-focused care across wellness, sick visits, and surgical procedures. The role involves performing diagnostics, delivering preventative care such as vaccinations and parasite control, and carrying out surgeries including spay and neuter procedures. The position also includes maintaining strong client communication and contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on high-quality patient care.
Practice Details
The hospital is a feline-only practice designed to reduce stress for patients, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, high-quality care. It is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment. Services include wellness exams, diagnostics and imaging, vaccinations, deworming, parasite prevention, microchipping, spay and neuter procedures, general and advanced surgery, and alternative medicine. The clinic is Fear Free Certified and supported by an ABVP-boarded Feline Diplomate, with a strong reputation reflected in 300+ five-star reviews.

The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
