Introduction
This established small animal hospital in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its six-doctor team. Serving the local community since 2010, the practice provides comprehensive general medicine alongside surgery, urgent care and emergency services, offering a varied caseload across both routine and more acute presentations.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position, providing the opportunity to work within a weekday-only hospital schedule with no regular weekend opening hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive small animal medicine across wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, medical case management, surgery and urgent presentations. You’ll manage cases from initial examination and diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, communicate clearly with pet owners and collaborate closely with the wider veterinary and support team. The combination of general practice and urgent care provides exposure to both routine appointments and more acute cases within the same clinical environment.

Practice Details
The hospital has served the Mesa community for more than 15 years and currently has a six-doctor veterinary team, including dedicated clinical leadership. Its full-service facilities support preventative medicine, advanced testing and diagnostics, surgical procedures, urgent care and emergency cases. The practice places an emphasis on collaborative medicine and compassionate patient care, providing doctors with the resources and team support needed to manage a broad small animal caseload.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
