Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital focused on providing high-quality small animal medicine, and they are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital cares for cats and dogs exclusively, maintaining a strong commitment to clinical excellence. They uphold AAHA-accredited standards and have earned a 4.6-star Google rating, demonstrating the community’s trust in the level of care provided. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside collaborative teammates in a respected Mesa practice dedicated to delivering exceptional veterinary care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes all aspects of small animal general practice, such as wellness care, internal medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, patient communication, and treatment planning. You will have the opportunity to build lasting client relationships, lead patient care with a high degree of medical autonomy, and collaborate with a supportive paraprofessional team. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital provides a high-quality small animal focus supported by a larger network that offers access to internal specialty consultations. They maintain a dedication to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional growth. The facility is AAHA-accredited, well-equipped, and designed to support comprehensive patient care. Services include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, spay and neuter procedures, microchipping, sick pet care, diagnostics, surgery, end-of-life care, parasite prevention, dermatology, in-house laboratory services, nutrition, pain management, laser therapy, and urgent care.
Team
The hospital’s medical team includes two DVMs supported by a great group of paraprofessionals who contribute to a positive, collaborative culture with strong opportunities for mentorship and professional development.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
