A respected, multi-doctor small animal practice in Mesa, Arizona is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and collaborative team. Working Hours / Rota
The practice operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends, offering a predictable weekday schedule with no routine weekend commitments. This structure supports a healthy work–life balance while maintaining a steady and engaging caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will deliver comprehensive small animal general practice care, including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, urgent presentations, and surgical procedures. You will practise with clinical autonomy while working closely with an established veterinary and support team to ensure consistently high standards of care. Clear client communication, attention to patient comfort, and evidence-based decision-making are central to the role, with ongoing encouragement to develop your clinical interests and skills.

Practice Details
The hospital provides full-service small animal medicine with access to advanced diagnostic capabilities, surgical services, and urgent care. A strong emphasis is placed on reducing patient stress, particularly for feline patients, as demonstrated by its Cat Friendly Certified® GOLD status. Clinical protocols and workflows are designed to support efficiency, quality outcomes, and a calm, supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Team
You will be joining a four-veterinarian team supported by a skilled and engaged support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
