Introduction
An AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Meridian, Idaho is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced team of 11 veterinarians. This well-established small animal and exotic practice combines high clinical standards with a collaborative, supportive culture, offering a varied caseload that includes preventative care, advanced diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, and exotic medicine. Many of the hospital’s veterinarians are Fear Free Certified, reflecting a commitment to low-stress handling and exceptional patient care. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 9:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and closed Sundays, with flexible full-time scheduling designed to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide high-quality medical and surgical care across a diverse companion animal caseload, with opportunities to treat exotic pets and urgent care cases if desired. You’ll perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and medical workups while building lasting relationships with clients through clear communication and personalised treatment plans. Working alongside a large, collaborative team of experienced veterinarians and skilled support staff, you’ll have access to mentorship, internal specialist consultations, and ongoing professional development to help you continue growing throughout your career.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
