Introduction
This long-established small animal and exotics hospital in Meridian, Idaho is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. Serving the local community since 1980, the practice has built a strong reputation for combining high-quality medicine with exceptional client service and has been recognised as a Boise Favorites nominee by the Idaho Statesman. With four veterinarians currently on staff, the hospital offers excellent mentorship, a varied caseload, and the opportunity to practice both general and urgent care medicine. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm and is closed on weekends.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide preventative, medical, surgical, and urgent care services for both small animals and exotic pets. You’ll manage a varied caseload including wellness appointments, diagnostics, surgery, and time-sensitive urgent care cases while building long-term relationships with clients and their pets. Working alongside an experienced team of veterinarians and support staff, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your clinical skills through collaboration, mentorship, and exposure to a diverse range of medical cases.

Team
You’ll join a team of four experienced veterinarians supported by a knowledgeable nursing and client care team in a collaborative environment where case discussion and mentorship are encouraged. The practice places a strong emphasis on professional development, providing ongoing learning opportunities while maintaining a supportive culture focused on delivering outstanding care to patients and clients alike.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
