Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-time team in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This is a small animal practice with a strong interest in exotic medicine, caring for dogs and cats alongside exotic species such as birds, reptiles, and small mammals. The hospital is known for combining high medical standards with compassionate, individualized care in a modern and welcoming setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Wednesday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Thursday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. The role is full-time and exact scheduling is flexible and open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role focuses on delivering high-quality small animal medicine, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, senior pet care, pain management, and client education. There is also the opportunity to gradually expand into exotic medicine for veterinarians who are interested in broadening their clinical scope over time. Daily responsibilities include patient examinations, diagnostic workups, treatment planning, and clear, compassionate communication with clients. The position is open to experienced veterinarians, with new graduates considered for the right fit within the supportive and collaborative team.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology to support comprehensive patient care. Equipment includes digital radiography, CT imaging, ultrasound, laser therapy, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory capable of bloodwork, urinalysis, and specialized testing, including hematology for avian and reptilian patients. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, spay and neuter, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, advanced diagnostic imaging, exotic pet care, luxury boarding, grooming, dog training, and daycare. The practice culture emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional care to every patient.

Team
The team consists of eight DVMs working alongside an experienced and supportive technical staff. The environment is collaborative and forward-thinking, with doctors and support staff working closely together to share cases, support professional growth, and maintain a positive, team-oriented workplace.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
