Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a flourishing animal hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee, near Memphis. They are hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian.
Working Hours / Rota
The role involves a flexible schedule of 12 shifts per 4 weeks, with a full-time benefits package included. The hospital opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, and closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes providing comprehensive veterinary care across a wide range of services. Clinical responsibilities include preventive care, spaying and neutering, internal medicine, dermatology and allergies, laser therapy, dentistry and dental surgery, and emergency care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including an Abaxis suite, digital radiology, ultrasound, Tonopen, doppler blood pressure unit, therapeutic laser, and stem cell therapy equipment. A radiologist visits as needed to perform ultrasounds and echocardiograms. The hospital also features a large surgical suite designed for both orthopedic and soft tissue procedures. Emergency and specialty clinics nearby provide referral support when needed. The practice is collaborative and benefits from a talented support staff, allowing veterinarians to provide high-quality medicine with strong patient-side diagnostic capabilities.
Team
The hospital has two DVMs supported by a great team of skilled staff. The environment is collaborative, with veterinarians and staff working closely together to ensure excellent patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
