Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian looking to work with a diverse small animal caseload while enjoying flexibility in their schedule. Full-time candidates are preferred, although part-time options can be discussed.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the full scope of general practice veterinary care. Clinical responsibilities include internal medicine, wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and more. The hospital welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Flexible scheduling is available, with doctor hours open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. It is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house labs, and more to support comprehensive patient care. Facilities include a surgical suite, dental suite, and an in-house pharmacy. Hospital opening hours are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Team
The successful candidate will join a collaborative environment supported by a great team of support staff. The team works closely together to provide high-quality patient care and support throughout the hospital.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
