Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and friendly team in Memphis, Tennessee. This well-established practice provides comprehensive veterinary care, combining advanced diagnostics, surgery, and proactive wellness services to support long-term pet health.

Working Hours / Rota
This role is open to full time or part time applicants. The full time hours will be 30 hours per week, working 3 days with a rotating Saturday full time option. However, they are open to 2 days per week.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a range of clinical services including general medicine, preventive care, internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. The position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian with strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, client-centered care.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technology, offering services such as emergency care during business hours, preventive health plans, comprehensive dental care, internal medicine, dermatology, and wellness services. The practice culture emphasizes proactive health management and high-quality, compassionate care for every patient.

Team
The team includes 2 DVMs and a well-trained support staff. The environment is supportive and collaborative, allowing for medical autonomy while fostering teamwork and ongoing professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
