Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established General Practice team. The hospital has been serving its local community for over 70 years, providing comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on high-quality medicine and Fear Free approaches. The practice offers a supportive, collaborative environment where clinical autonomy, professional development and work-life balance are actively encouraged.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery and ongoing patient management. Surgical responsibilities may include routine spays and neuters, mass removals, biopsies, amputations, abdominal procedures, bladder surgery, ophthalmic and eyelid procedures, oral surgery and reproductive surgery, including cesarean sections. The role offers opportunities to develop individual clinical interests while maintaining a focus on patient comfort and high standards of care. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with mentorship and professional development opportunities available.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and incorporates Fear Free techniques to create a calm and welcoming environment for patients and clients. The practice is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory facilities and surgical capabilities covering both soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures. The hospital operates Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Saturday hours varying and Sundays closed. The practice combines advanced diagnostic and surgical services with a longstanding commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs supported by an established veterinary support team. The practice promotes a collaborative working environment where veterinarians are encouraged to share knowledge, exercise clinical autonomy and develop their skills. Structured onboarding, mentorship and ongoing professional development are available, creating a supportive atmosphere for both experienced doctors and those at the beginning of their careers.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
