Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Media, PA, currently seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care in a collaborative environment focused on medical excellence and client education. Full-time and part-time applicants are welcome.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday with extended hours, including evenings and weekends. Shifts typically run between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sundays. Full-time benefits start at 30 hours per week.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including physical examinations, diagnostics, preventive care, and surgical procedures. Duties also include routine and complex surgeries (e.g., spays/neuters, mass removals, dental surgeries), dentistry with radiographic interpretation, and effective client communication. The role suits experienced veterinarians or new graduates with a strong foundation in general practice and surgery.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology, including ultrasound, heated hydraulic surgery tables, digital dental and full-body radiography, and an in-house lab. A strong focus is placed on quality medicine, supported by a structured SOP framework and a collaborative, team-oriented culture. The hospital provides a wide range of services including wellness care, internal medicine, general surgery, dentistry, preventive care, and hospitalization.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
