Job Description
Introduction
This recently remodelled small animal practice in Medford, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its two-doctor team. Caring for dogs, cats, and pocket pets, the hospital offers a varied caseload with opportunities to develop both medical and surgical skills, including advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures. The practice offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling designed to support an excellent work-life balance. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide preventative care, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry while building strong relationships with clients and their pets. You’ll perform comprehensive examinations, develop treatment plans, carry out routine surgical procedures, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional patient care. Practice Details
The hospital was fully remodelled in 2022 and is equipped to manage a broad range of medical, surgical, and dental cases. In addition to routine companion animal medicine, the practice provides advanced surgical support on site, including Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA), other orthopaedic procedures, and advanced soft tissue surgery. The hospital also follows hands-free radiology safety standards, creating a modern and supportive clinical environment.

You’ll join a collaborative team of two veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and support staff who are committed to providing high-quality patient care. The practice values teamwork, mentorship, and continuous learning while fostering a welcoming environment for veterinarians at every stage of their career.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
