Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing accredited small animal veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established practice in Mebane, NC. This is a great opportunity to work in a respected, full-service hospital committed to delivering high-quality medicine and compassionate care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday 8:00am – 6:30pm, Tuesday 8:00am – 8:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am – 6:30pm, Thursday 8:00am – 8:00pm, and Friday 8:00am – 6:30pm, and is closed on weekends. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality patient care, including diagnosing and treating cases, performing surgical and dental procedures, and managing wellness and preventative care. Daily responsibilities include building client relationships, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with the wider clinical team. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with a focus on communication, teamwork, and maintaining high clinical standards.

Practice Details
This is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital offering comprehensive services including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dental services, urgent care, cold laser therapy, osteoarthritis care, ultrasound, grooming, and nutrition counseling. The practice emphasizes high standards of veterinary excellence and patient safety, supported by access to internal specialty consultations for complex cases. The culture is centered on collaboration, education, and professional growth, enabling veterinarians to practice advanced, evidence-based medicine in a supportive environment.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive workplace.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
