Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and involves working with cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine wellness care, preventative medicine, and general medical cases. The Associate Veterinarian will be expected to contribute across various clinical areas such as surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Doctor hours are open to discussion, offering flexibility for the right candidate. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with hours from 8 AM to 1 PM every other Saturday, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is well equipped and provides a broad range of veterinary services, including routine wellness care, preventative treatments, dentistry, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and advanced therapies. These services are supported by up-to-date technology and a staff committed to fear-free, gentle handling.

Team
The team consists of one DVM supported by a great team of support staff, contributing to a supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
