Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. With locations in McConnells and Rock Hill, South Carolina, this full-service small animal practice is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while fostering a collaborative environment where both patients and veterinary professionals can thrive.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, managing a varied caseload that includes wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, pain management, and emergency cases requiring immediate attention. Responsibilities include performing thorough wellness examinations, developing treatment plans, carrying out routine and advanced surgical procedures including soft tissue surgery and TPLO procedures, providing dental care, interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory results, educating clients, and delivering compassionate care throughout every stage of a pet’s life. The role also includes collaborating closely with the veterinary and support teams while contributing to a positive, patient-focused culture. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital provides comprehensive wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, advanced medical care, critical care, pain management, and emergency treatment for dogs and cats. Facilities include an in-house laboratory capable of blood work and urinalysis, digital X-ray, ultrasound, complete surgical suites, and dedicated dental facilities with dental X-rays. Surgical services include spays and neuters, soft tissue surgery, advanced orthopedic procedures including TPLO surgery, and comprehensive dental procedures. The hospital also offers overnight patient monitoring provided by an experienced on-site technician to support critical care and post-operative recovery. The practice is committed to combining modern veterinary medicine with a personalised approach while encouraging client education and preventative healthcare. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and the practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
