Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital primarily sees cats and dogs, with the opportunity to work with exotic species for those interested.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers a 4-day work week with no weekend responsibilities, providing excellent work-life balance. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The role can accommodate either full-time or part-time availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for full general practice duties, including wellness, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. The hospital is particularly focused on orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries and welcomes veterinarians with an interest in expanding their skills in these areas. This role is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is very well equipped to support a high standard of care. It has a strong emphasis on general practice and handles a significant number of orthopedic and soft tissue surgery cases, with many referrals coming from around the Valley.

Team
The team includes 3 DVMs and a great support staff, working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
