Our client is a long-standing small animal general practice in Ohio, seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and team-oriented hospital. With over 40 years of service to the local community, the hospital is known for providing gentle, high-quality care supported by advanced technology, a loyal client base, and a strong commitment to both patient care and staff well-being.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, offering an excellent work-life balance. Wednesdays operate on a modified schedule with no doctor appointments, allowing additional time for administrative tasks or continued education.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide small animal medicine, diagnostics, and surgery, with an emphasis on delivering compassionate, individualized care. The role includes building lasting client relationships while collaborating with a dedicated and supportive team. The position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian with a strong interest in surgery and dentistry who values teamwork and a balanced schedule.

Practice Details
The hospital features a spacious four-exam-room facility equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, dental X-ray, laser therapy, and a surgical laser. Services include wellness and vaccination programs, preventive medicine, surgical and medical services, avian medicine and surgery, emergency and extended care, medicated baths, pet supplies, and boarding. The hospital’s culture is focused on teamwork, respect, and maintaining a positive environment for both staff and clients.

Team
The practice currently has one DVM supported by an excellent team of skilled and dedicated support staff. The environment promotes collaboration, communication, and a shared goal of delivering the highest standard of veterinary care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
