Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for cats and dogs in a well-supported clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering a high standard of medical care across a varied caseload, including wellness exams, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and preventative care. Daily duties include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating conditions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining detailed medical records. The role also involves collaborating with the wider team to ensure continuity of care and a positive client experience. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available to support professional development.
Practice Details
The practice is a 4-doctor hospital equipped with modern veterinary technology, including digital radiology, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and a dedicated surgical suite. The hospital follows hands-free radiology safety standards and is AAHA accredited, reflecting its commitment to high-quality care. Services offered include wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, general surgery, diagnostics, and hospitalization. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive environment with a strong focus on mentorship and teamwork.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
