Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary clinic for Dogs and Cats that is hiring a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian. The practice has been serving the Marysville community for over 40 years, providing veterinarians the opportunity to join an established and community-focused hospital with a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, medical consultations, surgery, and dentistry. This part-time opportunity requires coverage for 1 day per week with no weekend responsibilities, supporting excellent work-life balance. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to continue developing their clinical skills within a supportive practice environment.
Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP services and is equipped with modern diagnostic technology, including but not limited to ultrasound, digital x-ray, and digital dental x-ray equipment, supporting efficient workflow and comprehensive patient care. In addition to veterinary services, the practice also offers pet grooming services for clients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends.
Team
The hospital consists of 3 DVMs supported by 7 support staff members. A high technician-to-doctor ratio ensures excellent support for doctors and optimal patient care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
